Nedlands institution Joel Irrigation was founded by Stetton Joel more than 30 years ago and has grown to become a trusted household name in Western Australia. Joel Irrigation is a leader in the fields of reticulation, bore installation, irrigation maintenance and supplies, and also offer landscape packages for a full service offering.
2019 saw the coming together of two renowned Perth landscaping companies, with LHP Landscaping joining Joel Irrigation. LHP Landscaping was established in 2013 by Lachlan Peters, who has more than 10 years’ experience delivering unique landscape design and construction for large-scale commercial projects, as well as home projects and renovations.
Together, LHP Landscaping and Joel Irrigation specialise in all aspects of outdoor design and offer complete landscaping packages that cater to our commercial, residential and rural customers. Through collaborative consultation, we identify exactly what people want from their outdoor spaces, and customise a design to suit their needs. Our full suite of landscaping and irrigation services then take projects from initial scope to quality completion.
With Neil Smith and Lachlan Peters now at the helm, LHP Landscaping + Joel Irrigation is committed to delivering quality and outstanding customer service. This commitment has seen our company grow from humble beginnings to an industry leader in Perth landscape construction and design.

Who you’ll be working with
Lachlan Peters
Lachlan established LHP Landscaping as means to follow his passion for creating beautiful spaces that people can enjoy. With a keen eye for design, Lachlan can visualise unique and inspiring garden designs that suit the lifestyles and needs of his clients.
Lachlan and his team have successfully completed a number of projects and takes pride in watching design concepts come to life. This has seen LHP Landscaping forge a reputation as a leader in landscape design and construction in Perth and beyond.
Customers enjoy working with Lachlan for his friendly but frank demeanour. He is solutions-driven and no project is considered too difficult or too small for Lachlan and his team.
Neil Smith
Neil was born in England and at the age of 20 he moved to the Gloucestershire and developed an interest in gardening and landscaping.
A few years later he began working maintaining the grounds of an English country manor. With no formal qualifications Smith learnt his trade on the job and worked for many UK landscaping companies before travelling to Australia on a working holiday.
He decided to move to Australia and completed a diploma of horticulture and landscape design before starting work for Joel Irrigation. He has since gained formal irrigation design qualifications.
